La nueva encíclica del Papa

Ayer releí por segunda vez el comienzo de la nueva encíclica del Papa. Reconozco que es muy profunda. También me sorprende su claridad. La escritura es simple, concisa, con pensamientos breves y concretos.

Reconozco que a mí me ha abierto nuevos campos intelectuales. De pronto, he visto que cabe la posibilidad de una nueva reestructuración de las relaciones sociales e internacionales. En un tema en el que parecía todo dicho, se nos recuerda que podemos volver a repensar todo desde el principio, repensarlo todo desde el elemento más esencial que es el amor.

Después de años leyendo libros de economía y ensayos de Derecho Internacional, admito que se me había contagiado la idea de que las relaciones humanas se basaban en factores como la economía, el interés, el comercio y tantas otras cosas. Pero había olvidado lo esencial. Se me había contagiado una especie de visión científica. Ahora confieso que detrás de la aparente objetividad científica, se escondía toda una visión filosófica del mundo. Una visión no religiosa del mundo y del ser humano. Alguien tenía que recordarnos que no, que las cosas pueden ser de otro modo. En toda mi vida, no recuerdo una encíclica de un pontífice vivo que haya despertado en mí tanto interés por continuar su lectura. Estoy deseando seguir.

But he had forgotten the essential thing. A species of scientific vision had been contagious me. Now I confess that behind the apparent scientific objectivity, one was hiding the whole philosophical vision of the world. Not religious vision of the world and of the human being. Someone had to remind to us that not, that the things can be otherwise. In all my life, I do not remember an encyclical of a living pontiff who has woken up in me so much interest to continue his reading. I want to continue.
