El descubrimiento de América supuso un cambio de era. La Revolución Francesa supuso otro. Durante años los ensayistas han disertado acerca de cuál sería el suceso que supondría el siguiente cambio de era.

La II Guerra Mundial, sin duda, es el hito más evidente entre la Ilustración y nuestra época. Sin embargo, la aparición de Internet supone una revolución que va a dejar pequeño cualquier otro cambio anterior.

Una revolución que ha cambiado la sociedad, la cultura, el ocio, el trabajo, los hábitos y costumbres de casi todos. Recuerdo que un día estaba haciendo una visita a unos amigos. Le dije al hijo que le preguntara a su hermana si iba al salón a tomarse un refresco con sus padres y yo.
